Hi Everyone

Welcome to the Year 1 class.

Well, term 1 is well and truly underway (actually nearly finished) and the Year 1’s have been completing so much SUPER work. We have been learning many new things. Some of things we have been learning about are ‘what makes us special, how to be good friends, how to be healthy, our wonderful life, frogs, toads and now all about the ocean’. We are even going to investigate what a pirate is and how to find buried treasure.

We have also been working EXTREMELY hard at writing. We have a poem to help us and it goes like this:

The Year 1’s wanted to share with you all what they have enjoyed about Year 1 so far:

‘The things I like about Year 1 are the projects, arts and crafts and writing. I really liked learning about frogs, it was fun’. Breanna

‘I like writing my stories and drawing the pictures and I like colouring in my fish for the fish line’. Max

‘I like talking to Miss Crane. I like the activities Miss Crane has on the computer and I like talking to the other kids in my class.  Year 1 is lots of fun’. Gabriel
